Mixed reality is the merging of real and virtual worlds to produce new environments and visualizations, where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real time. Mixed reality does not exclusively take place in either the physical world or virtual world, but is a hybrid of reality and virtual reality.
The last couple of years, I've been focusing on learning to design for XR experiences. I’m excited to see where design overlaps with new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Really enjoy the challenge of creating interactions for XR experiences. With nine years working as a user experiences designer and combining my passion for 3D and 2D animation help we understand how to create XR experiences.
That's easy; I enjoy the unknown... I enjoy the fact that I learn something new every time I put on a headset or use a device. It means I have to be on my toes and think fast to solve issues.
Also, the skill set that I've built up over the years matches what you need for Mixed Reality. First, I have a motion/VXR background; this helps as I can fake interaction and build prototypes/concepts quickly - no time wasted. Second, I have vast experience in using prototyping tools such as Unity, Reality Composer (Apple product) and Areo (adobe product)to build usable prototypes in a short amount of time. Lastly, I have been working as a Product/U/UI for over ten years, which has given me the foundations to build out experiences for MR. Ultimately the principles of UX for MR are as any other product but in a three-dimensional environment.

Gravity Sketch is an intuitive 3D design and modeling software for cross-disciplinary teams to create, collaborate, and review in a real time. The software is used in the multiple sectors from construction, Car design and designing world for games.

Designing for mixed reality is alot like designing fro an application, you still sketch out concepts - irritate on IA flows, wireframe flows and prototype. But there are two key areas where it's different.
Understanding 3d space and spacial awareness...
Understanding 3d space out your user help defines the "set" the user is in. If everyone is on top of the user, it can give the sense of being claustrophobic and tenses; on the other hand, things out of reach can be painful to discover and notice at a glance.
Telling a story...
I've always tried to tell a user a store when i was working on mobile/desktop applications, but in mixed reality, you really have to double down on the narrative you trying to prevay. If the narrative is weak and hard to comprehend, mixed reality is less forgiving and tends to be gimmicky and less functional for a user.
